Your privacy
This page explains what information we collect when you use the Inner Circle, why we collect it, and who processes it for us.

Who is responsible
1000856131 Ontario Inc, trading as Habibi Squad, runs this site. Questions about your information go to members@habibisquadofficial.com.
What we collect
- Account and profile. Your name, email address and sign-in credentials, and whether your email is verified. We use these to create your account and let you sign in.
- Membership and billing status. Payments are handled by Stripe. We keep your Stripe customer and subscription references and your membership status, such as active, cancelling or past due. We do not store raw card numbers.
- Ask the Squad questions. The question text and display name you submit, linked to your account. Selected questions may be read in member podcasts.
- Discord (optional). If you link Discord, we store your Discord user ID and username so we can give you the Habibi Squad Member role and remove it when your membership ends.
- Video access. When you press play on a member video, we check your membership on our server and create a short-lived playback link.
- Site usage. Aggregate visit and performance information collected through Vercel Analytics.
- Optional analytics (only if you accept). See the section below.
Optional analytics
Analytics is off until you choose. If you select “Accept analytics” on the banner, we use PostHog, hosted in the United States, to count visits and understand how people find the site and join. Each browser is given a random identifier. This is pseudonymous, not anonymous: it does not name you, but it can be linked to your activity and, if you are signed in, to a random member identifier.
If you accept, we record:
- the type of page viewed, never the full address, query string or fragment;
- campaign tags in the link you arrived from (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_id) and the site name, not the full address, of the website that referred you;
- whether you opened checkout, used a promo code, started checkout or created an account, and whether checkout or account creation failed or you returned from Stripe without paying, by general category only;
- which member video you opened or played and roughly how far you watched (25%, 50%, 75%, 90% and 100%);
- a coarse device type (mobile, tablet, desktop or unknown);
- page performance measurements, such as loading speed, layout stability and responsiveness;
- if you are signed in, verified billing events (first payment, renewal, failed payment, cancellation scheduled or ended, resumed, and refund), the random member identifier, and for first and renewal payments the amount actually paid in US dollars.
We do not make screen or session recordings, we do not use session replay, and we do not record keystrokes; only the specific actions listed above are counted. We never send your name, email address, phone number, password, the text of your Ask the Squad questions, payment card details, Stripe checkout, invoice or charge identifiers, video links, or error messages to PostHog. Refund events carry the event type only, with no amount.
Campaign and referrer information is kept for 30 days to attribute a sign-up. Analytics events are kept for up to 1 year. Membership, billing and access never depend on analytics, and your payment records are kept regardless of your analytics choice.
Your analytics choices
“Accept analytics” and “Reject optional” are equal choices. We treat Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals as a rejection. You can change your mind at any time with “Analytics preferences” in the site footer. If you withdraw, we stop sending events and cancel any events not yet sent. Your choice is stored in your browser. If you are signed in, your account preference is also used to control whether later server-side billing events are delivered. To ask about analytics data, email members@habibisquadofficial.com.
How we use it
To run your account and membership, take payment, check your access to member content, sync your Discord role, handle questions you submit, respond to support requests, keep the service secure and understand how the site is used.
Who processes it for us
- Neon: database and account sign-in
- Stripe: payments, subscriptions and billing management
- Bunny: member video storage and delivery
- Discord: optional community linking and role assignment
- Vercel: hosting and analytics
- PostHog: optional analytics, only with your consent; data hosted in the United States
- Sender: email service that delivers verification and password recovery emails and receives your membership email address and status (see Email updates)
These services receive only the information they need to do their part. We do not sell your information.
Email updates
The site does not currently collect email addresses for a newsletter. We will update this page if that changes. We send account and billing emails, such as email verification, when you use those features.
When you become a paying member, or your paid membership is scheduled to end or ends, we send your account email address and that membership status to Sender, our email service, to keep our member lists current. This sync respects any email opt-out you already have with Sender: it does not resubscribe you, change your subscription status, or start any automations.
Sender also sends our account security emails on our behalf, from Habibi Squad <members@habibisquadofficial.com>. To do this, Sender processes the recipient email address and the authentication message, including the one-time code, that we send to deliver email verification and password recovery. These transactional security emails are separate from any marketing opt-in or opt-out. We do not claim that Sender performs no delivery tracking of its own for the emails it sends.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as we need it to run your account and membership and to meet our obligations. We have not set fixed retention periods yet.
Your choices
You can unlink Discord from your account page at any time. To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, email members@habibisquadofficial.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. Some records, such as payment records, may need to be kept.
Changes
We may update this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed. See also our membership terms.
